Green Eagles continue to soar

The most inform team in the Zambian Super Division Green Eagles are looking like team determined to play continental Football.
Aggrey Chiyangi’s boys are sitting pretty in third position on 50 points after a thrilling 3-2 against Kitwe United.
Anos Tembo has been at the center of Eagles success scoring goals for fun with Tapson Kaseba and Spencer Sautu also contributing to the goals.
Their defensive is equally strong with Mateo Ndashe and Gift Wamundila providing the necessary cover.
The performance of the side has seen three players, captain Ceasor Hakaluba, Tapson Kaseba and Spencer Sautu receive National Team call ups from Sven Vandenbroeck the new Chipolopolo coach.
They have gone on to recruit the likes of Chris Chola from Young Buffaloes, Isaac Simbuwa from Kabwe Youth Soccer Academy, Shadreck Mulungwe and Joseph Mwindilila  from Monze Swallows
The team which is sponsored by the Zambia National Service hailing from the Southern Province in Choma District have a clear path to finish in the top four with 11 games to go.
The executive led by Chairperson Lt. Colonel Jim Kafumukache had indicated that the main target was to win the league and the team looks to be on course to mount a late title challenge.
With traditional top four contenders Zanaco limping for points the only enemy of Eagles is themselves.
