How will Warriors get out of the blues?

No wins for Kabwe Warriors in the last five League games as the MTN FAZ Super Division outfit look like slumping into midtable.
What started as a promising campaign for the Legendary Club under the leadership of Tenant Chilumba and his assistants Hilary Makasa, Daglus Mwamba and Mulife Sitali the top four looks like a mission impossible.
An embarrassing 0-3 home defeat at the hands of Forest Rangers and a slender 1-0 away to Buildcon in Ndola has many fans wondering what has gone wrong at Railway Stadium.
Majority of supporters are blaming the technical bench for the poor showing in the last 5 games. They are wondering what has caused the slump in performance.
Is it due to lack rotation or have the coaches run out of ideas? Is it players who have lost the desire to play or maybe fatigue is creeping in due to a tight fixture?
It could be all the above as Warriors have almost fielded the same set of players in the 27 games played.
The regular squad of Scott Ngokene, Fred Mushindi, Clement Mwape, Tandi Mwape, Laison Thole, Clement Mundia, James Chibwe, Nelson Maziwisa, Heritier Nkonko, Emmanuel Okutu, and Akakulubelwa Mwachiaba and Patrick Kasunga have featured in at least 20 games of the season.
Players like Felly Nseka, Jacob Phiri, Paul Simpemba, Bibo Bindu, Wayne Museba and Ochan Benjamin have featured in seven games or less.
The team bolstered the midfield with the acquisition of Cameroonian midfielder Jacques Tabi and Lazarous Chishimba from Buildcon who both made their debut in last Saturday’s defeat at Buildcon.
Tabi and Chishimba struggled with the pace of the game clearly due to lack of match fitness.
The absence of Tandi Mwape who is out with a torn ligament, looks to have unsettled the team’s defensive discipline, the Magnificent team conceding 6 goals in the last 4 matches.
Warriors will have to do without the defensive pillar who will only be back in a month or so.
How do Warriors now get back to winning ways and restore the confidence in the supporters? Well they have to plan for a tricky National Assembly side whom they beat 3-2 at Woodlands Stadium in the return fixture.
