Uganda Premier League side Maroons FC have settled on experienced George ‘Best’ Nsimbe as their new head coach.
The experienced gaffer has been appointed few days after the Luzira based outfit parted ways with immediate former head coach Mwebaze Asaph, who recently traveled outside the country with local based side, Rising Stars FC without the club’s contest.
Prior to joining Maroons, Nsimbe served as technical director of another UPL outfit,Express Red Eagles as well as Tusker FC in Kenya.
The 52-year-old has also previously led Kampala Capital City Authority (KCCA FC) to three league titles – in 2008, 2013 and 2014.
The Uganda Premier League club which recently got a massive boost by partnering with Stanbic bank as their official sponsor will be banking on the Nsiimbe for better fortunes in league.
