Kaizer Chiefs eyeing Gor Mahia left back

Kaizer Chiefs are reportedly courting Gor Mahia and Ugandan international Godfrey Walusimbi  to help them fix  their ‘hole at the left back

As reported by Soccer Laduma, the Ugandan enterprising defender is on the Amakhosi top list.

Chiefs signed Lethlogonolo Miran  from ABC Motsepe league side Buya Msuthu but according to the Soweto giants ,the player is not up to the standards

Walusimbi has featured for Gor Mahia 48 times scoring three times while his 90 caps for Uganda national team puts him as one of the most sought left backs in Africa .

The 29 year old made his National team debut ion 10th September in the 2012 Africa Cup of Nations qualifier against Angola as a replacement for the injured Nestory Kizito.

 

Interestingly  the defender missed today’s KPL win over Posta Rangers in Kisumu .
