Andrew Ayew marks foremost Fernabace debut with remarkable victory

The Turkish giants summarized their 2018/19 opening league campaign with a shallow 2-1 win over Bursaspor.

Nigeria center back William Troost Ekong celebrated emphatically after opening the scoring sheet for Bursa, but his enthusiasm was short lived. Souza, Guiliano both scored to ensure a palatable comback for Fernabace.

Ayew failed to escape from the cautioned books of referee Halil Meler after he was booked for misconduct in the first half.

“Proud to play my first league game for FENER. 3 points gutted, not to get a goal today inshallah soon… Our fans are incredible, Let’s prepare for Tuesday” Andre Ayew after the game.

Ahead of their Tuesday Champions League qualification against Benfica, the Swansea loaner and the Black Star kingpin is poised to excel for his side to overcome a 1-0 deficit loss at the Estadio da Luz as they take on Benfica, to secure a champions League spot.

The U20 World Cup winner vows to score his maiden goal for Fernabace against Benfica at the Sukru Saracoglu stadium on Tuesday.
