A record transfer almost took place at the close of the Maalawian super league mini transfer window on Friday .
Malawi giants Nyasa Bullets had tabled a K10 million (USD 14,000) offer for the services of the uncapped national team player Raphael Phiri but the correctional service men rejected the offer tabling a K14 million(USD 19000) counter offer which Big Bullets termed outrageous.
If the deal went through,it could be the biggest transfer in Malawian soccer within clubs playing in the top flight.
