Bidvest Wit’s winning momentum halted by Supersport

Bivest Wits fine run in the ABSA Premiership came to an end losing by a solitary goal to Supersport United .

SuperSport broke the deadlock with 20 minutes remaining when Onismor Bhasera’s shot deflected into the way  of Evans Rusike, who volleyed past Wits ‘keeper Darren Keet.

Wits remain atop the log standings after three wins from four matches, while SuperSport are third with two wins from three matches.

Wits’ next encounter is at home against Free State Stars on August 4, while SuperSport are away to Cape Town City on the same day.
