Express FC secures Equity Bank partnership

Ugandan Premiership side Express Football Club through it’s chairman has secured a new partnership with Equity Bank Uganda for the upcoming season

The club which experienced financial constrains after pay TV Dstv  opted not renew their sponsorship with them will now have new partners in Equity Bank for  a deal worth one hundred million shillings

The development has been confirmed by the clubs chairman Mr Hamza Jjunju and Equity Uganda Executive Director Mr Antony Kituka in the statement below

“We have given it one year as a start then we shall assess the partnership. This is a partnership not a sponsorship. Express gets money depending on the performance after meeting our targets. We want to be involved with a club which has support and good performance.”

The Executive Director went further saying,

“We shall hold the club accountable. There is a performance matrix [to assess]. If all is done well, we shall back here to announce a bigger partnership because this train has just set off.”

On his part the Club’s chairman Mr Jjunju assured their partners that they will deliver so as to secure full sponsorship
