Startimes is not worried over the current state of local football stuck in turmoil and wished to cope with the government to restore normalcy in the game.
Mr. Felix Ahonzo Chief Operations Manager for Startimes Ghana revealed to the media(Kumasi FM 104.1).
As directly stated he says;
“We don’t have to worry. We need to compliment the effort of the government and the GFA to resolve whatever impasse for Ghana football to comes back alive. We need to work together to achieve this”
Mr.Felix after questioned on details of startimes contract with the GFA, whether there will be review or not;
“Until there is a legitimate or new body to supervise the activity of football,then we will sit and review the contract and look at the possibilities and impossibilities,what we need to give up and to give.
Our main concern is the GHPL and we need to agree on something on the interest of both parties”
Startimes holds the official broadcasting right for the following respective disciplines in Ghana soccer The Ghana Premier League, Division One League, The MTN FA Cup and The Women’s premier division football.
Their contract with Ghana football stands for the subsequent nine years after agreeing a ten year sponsorship program with then management of the Ghana football Association(GFA) last year.
