FIFA releases World Club draw as Real Madrid eye title defence

The draw for the Club World Cup has been made  today Tuesday 4th September 2018 . Defending champions  Real Madrid now facing a potential semi-final against Chivas.

Chivas will have to battle it out with AFC Champions winner to face the defending and reigning European Champions .

Real Madrid have won the Club World Cup in each of the past two seasons and will hope to make it three on the bounce under new boss Julen Lopetegui.

Having won the Champions League, the Spanish giants head straight into the Club World Cup semi-finals, where they will meet either Chivas or the winners of the Asian Champions League.

Host Al Ain will take on Oceania Champions Wellington FC on 28th November

CAF (11th November) CONMEBAL (28th November)and  AFC (10th November) are still having teams  battling in their respective continents to get the winner

CAF  has already 8 teams in the quarterfinals battling for the lone chance
