Wanyama set to miss Kenya’s clash against Ghana

News reaching Sokafrika.com  is that Kenyan international Captain Victor Wanyama may not take part in Kenya’s AFCON qualifier clash against Ghana .

Tottenham are reported t to be hesitant in releasing the Kenyan claiming he is still racing against time to match fitness.

“We have been engaging Spurs since the first day when coach Migne named the provisional squad for the Ghana fixture but so far we don’t have a proper answer to give you,”  FKF head of Communication Barry Otieno said

“We are entitled to have Wanyama in camp because this match falls under the Fifa calendar but again it will be unnecessary to have him travel all the way to Kenya and fail to start or play a part in the match.” He continues

Ghana top group F with three points after thumping Ethiopia 5-0 in their qualifying campaign while Kenya lost to Sierraleone
