Zesco ends winless streak to go four clear

FAZ Super League rescheduled match pitting Zesco United up against relegation bound Monze Swallow ended 2:0 in favour of the league leaders

A goal in either side of half time from Burundian International Enock Sabamukama sealed a two nil win for the defendeing champions bringing to an end a four game winless streak.

Zesco United went into the match without over five key players. Solomon Sakala and Lazarus Kambole are with the Zambia National Team while Jesse Jackson Were, Anthony Akumu and David Owino are with the Harambee Stars

The Ndola based side started off strongly but had to wait till on the 34th minute to break the deadlock with a calmly taken free kick right into the back of the net. After the breather Zesco doubled their lead late into the injury time once again through Sabamukama from  a beautiful long range strike.

The win now sets Zesco at 67 points and 4 points above second placed Green Buffaloes Football Club
