Kotoko humble neighbours Ashgold 3-2 in the Ashanti derby

After silencing arch rivals Accra Hearts of Oak a week ago in a (4-0) aggregate scoreline to emerge winners of Taabea super two clash.
The porcupine warriors once again, hushed noisey neighbors Ashanti Gold SC in a chicky friendly encounter at the Baba Yaara Sports Stadium.

Richard Osei Agyeman, Saddick Adams and former skipper Eric Donkor, all made a start for ‘The Miners’ as they look forward to a pay back time against former club Kotoko after showing the exit door, during the half season transfer Window of this year’s Ghana Premier League.

Saddick, Donkor both scored to seek vengeance but Yacouba’s brace and that explosive header from Wahab Adams shadowed the revenge.

The dramatic clash ended in a 3-2 victory in favor of Kumasi Asante Kotoko as the Fabulous takes home the bragging right after beating the best two clubs in Ghana within a fortnight.

Second leg tier is on course in the treasure city Obuasi, as the ‘Miners’ host victorious ‘Porcupines’ next week Sunday, 16th September 2018 at the Len Clay Sports Stadium.
