JKU crowned Champions in Zanzibar

Jeshi La Kujenga Uchumi (JKU) were on Tuesday 11th September crowned Champions of the Zanzibar Premier League

JKU who were the defending champions comfortably retained their title with a resounding 3:0 victory over fellow premiership side Jamhuri Football Club.

Jeshi La Kujenga Uchumi (JKU) got their goals courtesy of  a Salum Musa brace and a third one by Posinia Malik. The win made the Zanzibar giants to retain their title after a very rough and demanding 2017/2018 season which also saw them loss key members of their squad to the Vodacom League in Tanzania.

JKU now will represent the Island Nation next year in the 2019 CAF Champions League Tournament.
