Former Kaizer Chiefs star David Obua has backed Ugandan International Geoffrey Walusimbi to proper at the Soweto based side.
In his view while speaking to Kick Off Obua said “He is a good player and a versatile as a player as well. He can play more than one position. It is important to play in various positions nowadays as footballers and he can do that very well for the team. He can overload in the middle and give the team different options as I said. He’ll add that unique balance in the team. I think because Kaizer Chiefs is the biggest club, my advice to him is to go there and play for the club because supporters can quickly turn against you if you don’t play well, ”
He further added “We all know the fans; if you don’t play well in three of four games they’ll turn against you. But I’m confident that he’ll do well and adapt easily at Chiefs. Why I’m saying that is Chiefs are set up under Bobby Motaung (Chiefs team manager) and ‘Chicha Guluva’ (Chiefs supremo Kaizer Motaung). He’ll adapt very well because it is a well run and professional club.”
Walusimbi joined Kaizer Chiefs from Kenyan giant’s Gor Mahia Football Club
