Were’s double cements Zesco’s top spot
League leaders Zesco United title push continued with a resounding win against Kitwe United football Club in one of the FAZ Super League matches played over the weekend.
Zesco produced a solid performance taking nothing at chances to make it three wins out of three of their last outings. Kenyan International Jesse Jackson Were was the man at the centre of execution netting a brace in the 78th and 86th minutes respectively to revive his chances of winning the golden boot.
In other league matches also played across in Zambia second placed Nkana Football Club impressive form continued as they thumped Nakambala Leopards 3:0 ,Green Eagles won 2:1 against Lusaka Dynamos while Green Buffaloes played out to barren draw against Zanaco Football Club.
