Kcca hit a groove at the beginning of the season by defeating arch rivals Sc Vipers in penalties after the game ended goalless in normal time.
In a tightly contested game played at Mutesa 2 studium ,both sides remained solid in both halves seing out the game goalless.
There was no extra time played so they went directly into penalties .Two Vipers players missed their spot kicks while four (4) Kcc boys hit the back of the net with youngster Julius Poloto scoring the winning penalty.
