A Joel Mogorosi hattrick and a Segolame Boy free kick beauty handed Township Rollers a 4-1 win over Sankoyo Bush Football Club on Saturday 22 September at the National Stadium.
Sankoyo fought their way back into the contest through an Oabile Babusi goal just minutes after Mogorosi had opened the scoring for Rollers in the 15th minute into the first half but their celebration was short lived when Boyo stepped up to take a wonderfully struck free kick right into net just at the hour mark restore Rollers’ lead.
Moments later Kamogelo Matsabu was brought down in the box and Mogorosi stepped up to slot home Blues’ third from the penalty spot in the 76th minute. He later on in the match sealed Rollers win with another goal after having been set up by Boyo Lechaena. Rollers are on ten points after three wins and a single draw in their opening four matches of the season.
In another match league leaders Galaxy Football Club kept on with their impressive start into the season putting three past Black Forest Football Club. Galaxy struck first in the final minutes of the first half from the spot through Paeye Issac.On resumption Galaxy continued with their attacks and they got their second of the day through Ayanda Molefhe before Thero Setsile wrapped up the win.
Galaxy tops the league on eleven points with five matches having been played so far in the 2019 season.
