Zambia National team coach Sven Vandenbroek explained the idea behind his just ended three day camp.
The copper bullets gaffer summoned a mixture of Chipolopolo players and youngsters for a three day camp prior to naming his final squad for the Cameroon 2019 AFCON qualifier against Mozambique.
“The first idea was to keep fit the players for national team and the second is to bring in young stars to prepare them for the future,” he said.
” I have an idea about who is good enough to play for the National Team now and This week was just the first local camp with a mix,” he added.
The local camp saw the Belgian handed call ups to U20 national team duo of striker Francisco Mwepu and midfielder Benson Kolala who are being groomed for the future.
He also handed some Super League stand out performer like George Chaloba, Boyd Musonda, Joseph Phiri and Spencer Sautu among others.
