Latest on Zanaco Transfers ahead of new season

Trailing the upcoming season of the MTN FAZ super league, Zanaco FC have announced the recruitment of six players to the team in order to solidify the squad in depth.

Kelvin Kampumbu returns to the setup after having a two year flourish spell with Lumwana Radients whiles Young Zanaco prospect Peter Kalota also gained promotion to the senior team.

New signings;

Disengomoka Pangi Autriche – Sporting Clube de Cabinda, Angola

Richepin Tchokouaya – Unisport de Bafang, Cameroon

Patient Ikamba (Centre Back) – Lusaka Dynamos, Zambia

Kevin Owusu (Centre Back) – Nkwazi FC, Zambia

Peter Kalota (Left Back)- Young Zanaco’s

Kelvin Kampumbu (Midfielder) – Return from loan, Lumwana Radiants

Apparently Zanaco head coach Mumamba Numba in his optimist remarks, believes The Bankers fall out last year was due to their poor defensive system and looks forward to strengthen up.

“We are delighted to have the new players in the team.
The new additions to the squad will undoubtedly strengthen and bring stability to our defence.”

“We didn’t do very well last season because of our denfence.” Numba discloses.

In addition with his recruitment policy Numba added;

“We still have one or two more additions to make in other positions before the close of the transfer window.”

Six players shown up the exit door  either to pave way for the new signings.

George Chilufya (Expiry of contract)

Chongo Chirwa (Released)

Andrew Kwiliko (Released)

Diddy Mpiana Kitumbo (Released)

Kennedy Musonda (Loaned to Kabwe Warriors)

Zimiseleni Moyo (Expiry of contract)
