Migori Youth hold Shabana as Wazito go two points clear


The National Super league entered match day four with 9 matches played across the country .

One match was however not played after Kangemi All Stars dished a walkover failing to travel to Eldoret to face Eldoret Youth .

The round was highlighted with a series of draws with early pace setters Shabana getting a reality check at their backyard after being held by first improving Migori Youth

The match ended goalless with both sides failing to capitalize on awarded penalties .Shabana ‘s veteran Andrew Ongawe has his spot kick stopped by Migori Youth keeper Victor Opiyo while experienced Robert Ouma had his go wide .

The balanced match was graced by Kisii County Governor H.E .James Ongwae who donated Ksh 10,000 each to the teams .

There was a significant nunber of Migori Supporters at the Gusii stadium considering this was a derby match .

In other matches Wazito FC opened a two point lead after a 1-0 win over Kibera Black Stars with a Kennedy Ayieko strike while Green Commadies lost 3-0 to tax collectors Ushuru .At the same stadium AP abs Kenya Police drew 2-2 in the Police derby with Bidco being held to a 1-1 draw by visiting Fortune Sacco.

Nairobi Stima walloped Modern Coast Rangers 4-0 while at the Moi Stadium Kisumu ,All stars were held to a goalless draw by visiting St Josephs .FC Talamta and Coast Stima shared the spoils at Camp Toyoyo
