Huddersfield Town confirm Ramadan Sobhi loan switch to Al-Ahly
Egypt wonderkid Ramadhan Sobhi likely to return back to boyhood club Al-Ahly when the January transfer window resumes.
As a used sub Sobhi 21, had featured in only four competitive games for Huddersfield Town so far this season.
Since his move from Stoke in summer 2018, the player has struggled to match up with the intensity and fierce of the EPL.
Anticipating to rejuvenate his career back, Ramadhan has decided to move back in the Egypt Premier League for the proactive corse.
His contract with the EPL outfit runs out in 2021 with an option to extend for further season.
Huddersfield manager David Wagner today addressed the situation of the young chap;
“Ramadan has been a little unlucky with circumstances this season.”
“After a decent pre-season, he suffered an injury just before the start of the Premier League and it took some time to clear.”
“When he eventually regained full fitness, other players were ahead of him in the team and he hasn’t been able to force his way into the line-up.”
“He is keen for this loan move to happen and I think it is the best for everyone at this stage.”
