Nomvete extends his stay at Princess Magogo.
Amazulu Fc have announced that Veteran striker Siyabonga “Bhele” Nomvete has signed a contract extension which will see him stay at Princess Magogo till the end of the season.
The former Bafana Bafana announced in September that he was calling it quits after a much storied career but the club has confirmed that the 41 year old revoked his decision and agreed to stay.
“Amazulu FC can confirm that both the club and Siyabonga have agreed on a contract extension until the end of the season.” The club tweeted.
Siyabonga, who was born in KwaMashu small town north of Durban came to limelight in 2002 world cup when his solitary goal helped South Africa defeat Slovenia in South Korea.
He is the leading all time goal scorer in South African premier league with 111 goals ,he has also been in great form this season and recently scored against Highland park and Bloemfontein Celtics.
