Diouf calls off Uganda visit

Ugandans will wait for another chance if  they  are to have a glimpse at retired Senegalese Striker El Hadji Diouf.

The former  Liverpool ,Bolton and Leeds striker was supposed to visit  uganda over the weekend where he intended to attend Eddie Kenzo’s  Concert and Charity game to mark 10 years in Music but failed to travel in time thus calling off the visit.

“We are sorry to announce that the charity game between Eddie Kenzo’s Select/ wakiso Giants and FUFA   president X1  that was part of celebration to mark 10 years of  Kenzo in music that was to be played on Friday at Startimes Studium has been called off” said the event organizer Katende Malibu.

This follows a late call from El Hadji Diouf who was meant to be part of the game that he won’t  be able to make it to Uganda after meeting the  Senegal president ,His Excellency Macky Sall who assigned him to coordinate the CAF Awards due to be held in Darker next week.

Diouf has apologised to ugandans and fans of Eddie Kenzo but promises to visit uganda at any time in future that will be communicated.

Big Talent Entertainment also apologised to everyone but still calls upon their fans to show at Serena and Freedom city where the concerts are poised to take place.
