Uganda Premier League tittle holders Vipers SC announced the arrival of Innocent Wafula to St . Mary’s.
The former Gor Mahia winger inked a three year contract deal for the Venoms for an undisclosed fee.
As the club foremost signing of this reign transfer window, anxious Wafula opens up after sealing his move.
“I am, of course, delighted and very proud to be joining Vipers SC. I’m very happy to be here and to be a Venom. I really felt that the club wanted me to come. I will give my best on the pitch, and hopefully be a very good player for this team.”
The player fuel his remark, embracing the level of competition in the team but poised to vie for his role in the command setup.
“The team has very talented players and it is a pleasure for me to be part of such a set up. I therefore will work hard to fit in easily.”
The former Chemelil Sugar FC player is likely to make his debut next week as Vipers SC take on Onduparaka FC in the league on Tuesday (January 8th, 2019).
Welcome to Vipers, Innocent Wafula!!!
