Ssekisambu grabs hatrick as Gor Mahia thumps Mt Kenya United

Champions Gor Mahia crash Mt Kenya United 4:1 in a rescheduled Kenyan Premier League match on Wednesday 16th January 2019

A Ssekisambu hatrick and a Dennis Oliech spot kick propelled defending Champions to their fourth victory of the season after a slow start into the new campaign. The Ugandan who’s largely been missing in action got champions going just two minutes into play with his first of the day , a lead that Gor defended off well going into half time stoppage.

On a resumption for the final stretch of the match, Gor added second of the day  through Kenyan all time lead scorer Dennis Oliech who converted from the spot. Mt Kenya would in a quick response draw  a goal back through  former K’Ogalo player Moses Odhiambo a goal that did not last long as Gor responded swiftly with Ssekisambu grabbing his second of the day just after hour mark of play and later on late into the match getting his third and fourth for the champions.

The win ascends K’Ogalo into fourth position on the log on 13points.
