Musa returns as Muba gets axed from San Pedro trip
The Zambians who carry an healthy lead heading into the return leg have made the trip to West Africa with the view of making the lucrative Group stage.
Nkana FC traveled to the San Pedro,Ivory Coast ahead of their CAF Confederation Cup Playoff Round second leg tie against FC San Pedro on Sunday.
Nkana beat the Ivorians 3-0 in the first leg played at Kitwe ‘s Nkana Stadium last Saturday courtesy of striker Ronald Kampamba,veteran Joseph Musonda and substitute Festus Mbewe ‘s goals.
Coach Beston Chambeshi has named a strong 18-man squad making only change from the side that beat the Ivorians in Kitwe which sees midfielder Kelvin Kampamba who last time out refused to shake Chambeshi’s hand after being substituted in the 42nd minute dropped while influential Kenyan centre-back Musa Mohamed returns after missing the first leg through suspension.
Nkana will battle Les Oranges on Sunday at the Stade Auguste Denise in the coastal town of San Pedro.
