SouthAfrican PSL side Kaiser chiefs have released uganda cranes leftback Godfrey Walusimbi “jaja walu” after five  months . Kaiser chiefs parted ways with the former Gor Mahia  left back  who joined them in August last year.

“Kaiser chiefs have parted ways with left back  Godfrey Walusimbi. The player has opted to go back home to Uganda.       We would like to thank Walusimbi for his  contribution to Kaiser chiefs and wish him all the best ”  Kaiser chiefs official Facebook page wrote

The club  didn’t  give a reason why they are  dropping  30 years old ugandan experienced left back. But  Sokafrika understands that Amakhosi expected  Venezuelan Gustavo Paez to move away from Soweto  ,so they had Signed Nigerian goalkeeper  Daniel Akpeyi to fill his foreign slot at the club but the  South American rescinded his decision  and decided to stay  hence prompting  the club to release the ugandan player to free up one spot and accommodate the Nigerian shot stopper  signed from Chippa United.

Besides that Walusimbi had gone down the pecking order  with the German coach Ernst Middendorp preferring   Ntiya- Ntiya and   Moshiane  over the former  K’Ogalo  left back player.

Walusimbi has previously featured for Sports club villa , DRC’s Don Bosco  and Kenyan giants Gor Mahia whom he left controversially in August to join Kaiser chiefs.
