ZESCO United’s second all-time leading goal scorer Jackson Mwanza has retired from active football at the age of 32.
Mwanza has since been appointed as coach of Zega Mambo’s Under-14 side along with defender Dauti Musekwa who has also retired from football.
Mwanza who is a product of the famous Naboye Secondary School that has produced a number of star players,joined ZESCO United in 2009 from now defunct Zamtel FC side and went on to score 59 goals to become the club’s all-time top goal scorer before being recently overtaken by Kenyan international Jesse Jackson Were.
Musekwa on the other had joined United in 2012 from Power Dynamos and has won 4 league titles with the 7-time Zambian champions.
