Paidha Black Angels football club has been relagated to FUFA Big league as they suffered 0-2 defeat against table leaders KCCA Fc who not only relagated Paidha Black Angels side but also extended the gap at the top to 6 points following Vipers draw in Mbarara today.
KCCA sealed Paidha Black Angels fate at Bar Odokor Studium in Zombo with two second half goals scored by Muzamiru Mutyaba and KCCA striker Kaddu Patrick.
KCCA started brightly and looked more dangerous in attacking but failed to penetrate solid defence put up by Paidha Black Angels in the first half as they were aware that a loss against Kasasiro boys would send them down.The first half ended goalless.
With four minutes played into second half Muzamiru Mutyaba put the visitors in front after a good build up from Kaddu Patrick.
Paidha Black Angels had two clear chances to level the matter and put KCCA under pressure but Kidega’s shot was cleared by Charles Lukwago and Okwir’s powerful strike hit the crossbar
The last Seven minutes were played out on a pedestrian pace as the players and management realised of Big league football dawning on them and inventually their shaky defence fouled Allan Kyambadde prompting the centre referee to award the visitors a spot kick with four (4 )minutes left to play . Man of the match Kaddu Patrick stepped in and sent Paidha Black Angels goalkeeper the opposite side ,a thing that sealed their fate.
Paidha Black Angels have collected 12 points this season from 26 games and even if they win the remaining four games the best position they can achieve is 14th position .
They have endured a difficulty first and ever season in Uganda’s top flight league .
