Miller’s SoNy Sugar stun Homeboyz

A double from Ugandan Andrew Waiswa was all important as visting SoNy Sugar stunned Kakamega Homeboyz in Bukhungu Stadium.

Visiting SoNy Sugar produced yet another convincing win collecting vital points in a Kenya Premier League match staged Wednesday 22nd May. In a match tightly contensted, SoNy looked more of the threatening side and it didn’t last with just 23 minutes of play ,former Homeboyz man Andrew Waiswa sloted in the opener tapping in Joshua Nyatini’s low delivery. The goal would separate the two sides heading in for halftime break.

The second half produced fireworks with both ends all on attack, hosts lead by captain Allan Wanga almsot came close with double attepmts that were well saved by Njau Samuel in goal for SoNy but after long pressing host Homeboyz leveled scores through Cameronian Maxwell Ravel who tapped into an empty net.

Waiswa’s winner

With all seemingly headed for a one all draw, a lapse in concentration from hosts backline saw Waiswa Andrew icing Homeboyz woes with a last minute strike to hand miller’s SoNy Sugar sweet victory. The win sends Patrick Odhiambo coached side fourth on the log.
