Kakamega Homeboyz talisman Allan Wetende Wanga leads the tight race for the golden boot award as Kenyan Premier League enters homestretch with a few matches remaining in the 2018/2019 season.
The experienced goal poacher who appeared to have been written off at the beginning of the season when he turned up for improved Kakamega homeboyz fc has proved to many that experience, hard work, focus and discipline is key in football.
“Its all about discipline, hard wor and determination, we work hard as a team we focus on our goal which is to finish in top four bracket this season and its working for us ” said Wanga in an interview.
WOULD BE SURPRISED IF HE DIDN’T MAKE THE AFCON CUT
On his part his coach Nicholas Muyoti heaps praises on Wanga as a fighter that young upcoming talents should emulate.
“Wanga is player that young footballers should be drawing their inspiration from to me he is a role model to the team because at his age he is still scoring goals at will posing a challenge to other young strikers in the team, i would be surprised if he didn’t make to the AFCON squad” said Muyoti who is the Kakamega homeboyz coach.
