Isibania ,Bondo Kosiemo favourites as Migori County Ball games set for Taranganya

The Migori County Secondary Ball games begin tomorrow at the Taranganya Boys High School in Kuria West Sub County

The three day tournament will end on Sunday with the winner in the boys football category representing the County in the Regional Ball games that will be staged at the Kisumu Boys High School  this month

Giants Kanga are missing for the second time in a row after they lost to Kodero Bara in the finals of the Rongo Sub County games . Interestingly the former Kanga Coach Dick Obure will be with pre tournament favourites Isibania Boys in the tournament

This years tournament will have 10 teams as opposed to 8 after the Ministry effected the additional two Sub Counties in Ntimaru and Mabera

Matare Boys of Nrimaru will be in Pool A together with Nyamaharaga of Kuria West .This fixture will determine the winner of the pool as the two have sailed to the quarters .

The same applies to Pool B where Kodero Bara will lock horns with Dick Obure’s Isibania .

New entrants Osingo from Suna East ,Uriri Boys and another favourites Bondo Kosiemo are in Pool C with the top two making it to the quarters .

Mourice Ochome led Masara from Suna West ,Kegonga of Kuria East and youthful side Sony Sugar Mixed Secondary will all battle for the two slots to make it to the quarters


The National  Ball games will take place in Kisumu from 12th to 26th August  with the East African games taking place from 26th to 4th August in Arusha City ,Tanzania
