Dussuyer, ‘We could have won” Benin boss boast after Black Stars draw

The Squirrels of Benin off to a standard start after a two all draw Against Ghana in their 2019 African Cup of Nations opener last night.

Michael Pote exquisite brace weren’t enough to grant the Squirrels the maximum three points.

Two beautiful strikes from Andre Ayew and Jordan Ayew denied Benin a win as both sides shared the spoils in their respective first game.

Benin gaffer Michael Dussuyer believed his side could have carry the day but not disappointed with his boys performance in spite of the 2-2 results.

“We had a great game and Im proud of my team.”
“We are still at the beginning and we will give it our all to qualify.”
“Im proud of my team but we could have won”

Dussuyer told the press after the game and believe The Squirrels will qualify from the group with the likes of Camaroon and Ghana all in there.
