‘I need your encouragement and not your insults’ Senegalese Diatta tells fellow African racists

Senegal midfielder Krepin Diatta has finally broke the silence concerning the widespread abuse of his color on social media.

The 20year felt extremely disappointed over his pictures trending in a state of mockery and racism on different platforms especially from African colleagues.

Reacting to the situation Diatta said, ” I am very sad to see some African brothers making fun of me. I work for our beautiful and dear African continent and what I receive in return are only insults, mockery of my brothers. This is too bad of you and racism comes from there. I need your encouragement and not your insults. Thank you to everyone who supports me. Only God makes my strength and I am proud of my physical person. Your mockery won’t change anything in my life. But one thing is for sure, we are all african.”

The Club Brugge star has been in thick of affairs for the indomitable Lions in the AFCON so far.

Scored in their foremost fixture against Tanzania and spot on to win the man of the match award.
