Liberia’s home-based national team have begun preparations at the famous Antionette Tubman Stadium (ATS) in Monrovia for the start of next year’s African Nations Championship – CHAN Qualifiers.
Twenty-five players have made the provisional LONE STAR Squad which might be pruned to 23 before the team host the young teranga Lions of Senegal in the first leg in Monrovia few weeks time and than flies out to Dakar for the return fixture , between the weekend of August 2-3, 2019.
The CHAN Nations Qualifer is reserved for only home-based players, or players plying their Soccer trade in their Country.
Thomas Kojo on Tuesday held his first training session with all the players taking part in at the ATS as they started their training ahead of a tough test with Senegal.
