English born Liberian youngster faisu Sangare the younger brother to Newcastle United U23 Liberian Midfielder Mohammad Sangare has extended his stay with English Premier League side Wolverhampton Wanderers U18 until 2021.
The 16 year old arrived in 2016 from Oldham Athletic continues his adventure at “the Wanderers” for another two years.
Sangare,born in UK,but eligible for Liberia through his parents have signed two-year extension to his Scholarship contract at Wolverhampton Wanderers U18.
Faisu Sangare was among 13 youngsters that the club rewarded new football schooling contract to follow develop in their Academy rank ahead of the 2019/2020 Season.
He joined goalkeepers Joe O’Shaughnessy, Joe Young, defenders Christian Marques,Jack Scott, midfielders Chem Campbell, Owen Hesketh,Jack Hodnett, Hugo Lopes,Dean Pinnington, forward Erik Bugarin, Jaden Forrester, and Lee Harkin.
Sangare will have a chance to feature in the UEFA Youth League next season. he made his competitive debut for Wolverhampton Wanderers U18 in a 2-3 defeat to Everton in the U18 Premier League and score his debut goal in that match , the youthful striker has since went on to played six matches for the Wanderers youth spread over 240 minutes across all Competition.
“Faisu’s been with us about two years now after we signed him from Oldham. He’s a big, powerful center-forward who is a very willing worker, has good hold-up play, and has got a lot of potential. Like a lot of the boys, we’re looking forwards to seeing him here as a full-time footballer.”the club posted in a statement on its official website.
At an induction evening held at Molineux this week, the players and their parents were able to officially meet all the Academy coaching and administration staff. They where also inform about the programs they will be following over the next two years of their scholarship, with the aim of winning their first professional contract.
Meanwhile , this latest development will path was for Liberia National team to launch a bid to crack the productive youngster to doom the national colors, his elder brother Mohammed Sangare have already worn the shirt of the LONE STAR, with two capped under belt so far.
