SoNy Sugar Fc refutes Startimes sponsorship claims

Cash-trapped Kenya Premier League side (KPL) SoNy Sugar have refuted Startimes sponsorship claims.

Speaking exclusively to Sokafrika, the club’s CEO Mr Bonface Onyango has denied claims of having secured Startimes sponsorship deal. ” It’s wrong to spread such a rumour to the public  with no clear information. We have not secured a sponsorship deal with media company Startimes as claimed, however it’s true we are in persuit  for sponsorship in readiness for the new season. We had a number of options that we have been looking into and we should be able to secure one in the course of the week.” He concluded.

The Awendo based side has lost key first team players  due to the ongoing financial woes that has rocked the side earlier in the year.
