All African Games: Black Satellites starts on a high note after victory over Burundi
The Ghana U20 national team commenced their 2019 All African games campaign on a good note after 2-1 pip over Burundi at the Stade Municipal El Manssouria, Morocco.
Coach Yaw Preko together with his lads were convincing on the day to sink the Burundi U20 side after regulation time.
Two goals from Medeama youngster Tahiru Awudu in minute 16′ and 21′ were enough to give the Satellite a slim triumph in their opening schedule before Burundi canceled one out on the stroke of half time.
The win elevates Ghana to the top of Group B after Mali and Senegal ended their game in a 0-0 Stalemate.
Ghana’s penultimate fixture will be played on Wednesday August 21 at the Municipal stadium in Kenitra against Senegal before wrapping up the group encounters with Mali on August 24.
