Former -Man City Star Alex Nimely, Sign for English lower League side Kettering Town

Forgotten Liberian forward Alex Nimely Tchuimeni has signed for Lower English National League side Kettering Town.
The 28-year-old, who played once in the Premier League for Manchester City under Roberto Mancini, has featured for Kettering during pre-season.

In a statement via its official website the Club announced the signing of the Liberia International, subject to Confirmation from the lower league house , the club released said.

“the club is delighted to announce that striker Alex Nimely (above) has signed for the club, we are just waiting for FA confirmation before he can play. Alex played during pre-season and impressed in the two games he featured forming a good patnership with Dan Nti, the Club was quoted in a statement.

Nimely a former Manchester City forward had previously played for English’s Clubs Middlesbrough (loan), Crystal Palace (loan), Coventry City (loan) and Port Vale as well as Poli Timişoara, and FC Viitorul Constanţa in Romania, the former Mighty Barrolle and Coton de Garoua has also had a stints in Norway with iFK Stabaek and Finnish Veikkausliiga side FC Honka .

At Manchester City , the 17- year- old Nimley, made his debut in the Premier League, playing seven minutes, in a match with Burnley, score 6-1. After ticking matches for all of City’s junior teams, Nimely was than sequencetly loaned out to Middlesbrough, Crystal Palace and Coventry, but without success. He scored just one goal in three years, at Manchester City, whom chose to terminate his contract. At 23, he signs with Port Vale, a team from the lower leagues of England.

Tchuimeni has he is nickname by his adopted parents, play a single match with Port Vale, then break the contract. the reason was indiscipline, a source disclose, the forgotten Nimely than decided to take a year break away from football in 2016, and training was his favorite activities.

Nimely resumed soccer action a year later he arrived at Poli Timişoara on a short terms deal after a year with trip to Romania, he decided to leave on a free transfer to Stabaek in Norway, He signs a two-year contract, but he resists only two months in Norway and terminates his contract with the Noweigan Club.

After a short terms with Stabaek , Nimely sorted for new adventure in febrauary 2018 he joined FC Honka in the Finnish Topflight , Alex had another disappointment again in Finland, playing 20 matches without a goal scored, and the Finns propose to him to break the contract, in January 2019. Since then, the Liberian born English forward has been clubless, until August of this year and had no commitment.

“It was reported a week ago that Alex Nimely was on trial, with North National League side Kettering Town FC , and reports has been established that the 28-year-old forward has impressed well securing a contract with the sixth step English football Club.

Kettering Town football Club, later announced the arrival of the Liberian Striker with objective to Confirmation by the English FA, the former England U20 player is hopeful of sealing all papers works and make his debut this weekend in the National League North.
