Hossam El‪-Badry named new Egypt Headcoach

The Egyptian Football Association (EFA) have officially announced the appointment of former El Ahly coach Hossam El-Badry as the new Egypt Headcoach, succeeding Javier Aguirre.

The EFA headed by Amr El-Ganainy have named five candidates for the vacant Egypt job.

The Pharaohs have been without a manager since Javier Aguirre was sacked after the disappointing 2019 AFCON campaign when Egypt were knocked out from the round of 16.

The five nominees for the job were Hassan Shehata, Hossam El Badry, Hossam Hassan, Ahmed Hossam Mido, and Ehab Galal
