Liberian Midfielder Allen Njie opens Switz League goal account

The 20-year-old sensational midfielder grabbed his first goal in the Switzerland Challenge League ,when he helped Grasshopper Zürich to a 2-1 away win at SC Kriens to move on top of the League table.

Njie expressed joy in scoring his first ever goal in the Switz Challenge League after the hoppers beat Kriens in Match Day 7.

Allen Njie scored the winner at the Kleinfeld stadium in the 69th minute to set the Zurich based team on the path to victory, after Portuguese forward Asumah Abubakar Ankar had given krien Sc a seven- minute lead and Danijal Subotic had equalized for the visitor’s in the 63rd minute before Njie goal few minutes later ensured the win was secured for hoppers. whose move on top of the Switz Challenge league table with 14points from Seven matches.

Speaking to Liberian Sports International in a brief chat after the match , the former Liscr fc midfielder expressed delight after getting one in the shirt of the hoppers.

“I want the supporters to expect more from me because I have a different feeling inside me as a hopper’s . the goals will come once I have getting the first,” more to come, we’re on top of the league table now and we are on fire,” he said after the game.

“This is my first league goal, so I am very happy to score it for the hoppers”, but the most important thing we won , but the fight continues as am willing to give my all for the best club he said to LSI Sports.”

The victory means Grasshopper’s climb up to first place on the table with four wins, two draws and one defeat from Round seven Matches, they’re one point ahead of Second place Lausanne who are not in action until Sunday against 9th place Vaduz in the Switzerland 2019 Challenge league.
