The crisis of Zamalek and Senegalese rivals Generacion witnessed new events according to the refusal of the guest to play the second leg at the “Borg El Arab” stadium in the second leg of the 32nd round of the CAF CL.
Generation Foot came out on top with a 2-1 win against Zamalek in the first leg of the round of 32 in the CAF Champions League. The match was supposed to be played on 28th at Petrosport stadium but it was moved, as Zamalek announced, to Borg El-Arab Stadium.
The management of the Senegalese club issued an official statement this morning through its official website declaring its adherence to holding the second leg in Petrosport and not going to Borg El Arab.
In contrast, the management of the Zamalek club, headed by Morteda Mansour, presented tickets for the meeting despite the crisis of the Senegalese club.
The boss of Zamalek commented on the crisis of the Senegalese team, to respond that if the opponent does not arrive Borg El Arab Stadium will face Misr El Makassa club.
Zamalek board member Hamada Anwar commented on the crisis in a special statement to to reveal that his club had a similar incident against Sangha Palinde in 2015

Security of the “Petrosport” refused to let the Senegalese team into the stadium because Zamalek did inform the stadium as the host club.
The official in charge of the Senegal champions said in a press statement that his club refused to talk to Alaa Maklad, a member of Zamalek board who went to the stadium “Petrosport” because of not dealing with them since their arrival in Egypt.
