Do you know that, Haji Wright of Dutch Club VVV-Venlo has a Liberian root and could perhaps turn his attention to play for Liberia at Senior International level, given the fact he is yet to make an official Senior Appearance for USA.
Haji was born Los Angeles (California) USA to a American Liberian parents, his uncle Mark Gibson is a former Liberian International, who formerly plays for Mighty Barrolle and the Liberia National team.( deceased) Gibson died last year April after suffering a brief illness.
Wright comes from a sporting family. His brother Hani Wright also plays Soccer for German fourth-tier outfit Bonner SC and a former LA Galaxy player, Haji Cousins are Isaac Addai,a former Liberia National Under-23 player and a forward at United states National Premier Soccer League (NPSL)side Boston City,while his other Cousins are Joseph Putu who played in American Football Cornerback for the Florida Gators, and Joseph Addai,also a former NFL running back who won the Super Bowl XLI with the Colts.
Haji Wright was born March 27, 1998 in Los Angeles, He first started playing Soccer for the LA Galaxy Academy, before moving to the Senior team after emerging as one of the United State brightest Prospect. In March 2015, Wright officially signed with NASL club New York Cosmos for an undisclosed fee and contract length. Wright’s contract expired following the season, and Club decided not to renew his Contract, He play three matches for Cosmos across 80 minutes during his time at the Club.
The following year 2016, Haji Wright Signed for Schalke 04 and made his debt with the Club U19 against Borussia Mönchengladbach U19, and netted a brace in his first appearance for the Club, Wright was promoted to the Schalke first team in May 2017 and was unused Substitute in a Bundesliga match against against FC Ingolstadt 04, On November 24, 2018, He made his debut for Schalke first team when he replaced Steven Skrzybski in the 88th minute of the 5–2 win against FC Nürnberg.
In July 2019, Wright joined VVV-Venlo on a free transfer and had went on to make approximately 15 appearances for the Club, his first and only goal came in a 3-2 defeat to Groene in a Dutch Cup.
Wright,21, is a Los Angeles, California native who has been part of the U.S. youth national team program since being called into the U-14s in 2012. In 2014, he tallied 18 goals and seven assists in 22 matches for the U.S. U-17 team.

Despite playing for the United States at all youth levels , Haji is still eligible to play for Liberia, given the fact , he is yet to feature for USA in any Senior International men football Competition.
