Alio Badji, Al-Ahly’s first team player, made his first comment after moving to the Red, expressing his great happiness with this step that will help him to develop.
The Al-Ahly Club announced today, Thursday evening, the formal contract with Aliou Badji for a contract that extends for four and a half seasons starting from January, coming from the Austrian Rapid Vienna.
“I am on my way to join this wonderful and ancient club, I am very happy to join your family,” Aliou Badji said. “I wish you and me success in the African Championship. I am on the way to returning to my continent of Africa and know the value of Al-Ahly club within the continent.”
The Senegalese player continued his statements by saying: “I am confident that I will develop and gain a lot inside this ancient club, and I know the size of pressures within a large team like Al-Ahly.”
He continued: “You have to be positive always, and make the most of what you have of effort and race, sometimes you strike and sometimes you make mistakes, but what is important is that you keep trying to do what you have in order to succeed.”
The 23-year-old added: “I have some information about Al-Ahly and its great importance within Africa, as it is the most awarded to the African Champions League I think more than 6 championships, and I am confident that it is a very important step in my professional career.”
“I think the great levels of Al-Ahly players will help me succeed and develop, and I followed a lot of news about Al-Ahly as well as through a number of my friends who play in the Egyptian league, and who knows, my move to Al-Ahly is a step that qualifies me to play for the Senegal team,” Aliou Badji concluded his statements.
