KCCA  in a must win situation  to maintain  pressure  on table leaders.

KCCA  vs  Express  Fc .

Kickoff: 4pm

Venue :Star Times  Stadium

On Tuesday  KCCA  fc  had a chance  of beating  table leaders  Sports  Club Vipers  but they failed  the test and saw the game end goalless, another  chance  is here today as they look to put that disappointment  behind them  and close the gap  on Vipers  at the top when  they host old time rivals  Express  FC at  Star Times stadium  Lugogo.

After Tuesday draw  ,Mike  Mutebi’s  side  remained  second  on the table five points  behind the venoms but with  the  leaders  losing 3-1  to third  placed URA FC  yesterday,  today’s  match  could  be massive in Kasasiro boys  tittle challenge.

KCCA fc  welcomes  back Julius  Poloto,Kato Nemeyimana,Sadat Anaku and Kizza Bukenya but with John Revita  and Gift Ali  not fully fit,  Sam Senyonjo still  having  licence  issues,  Mutebi will have to  manoeuvre  his side for this fixture.

John Revita

At the press conference  Mutebi  said   “We will take the game  so serious given  its magnitude  and history  around it. It is a derby  and derbies  are won by the team that shows the biggest  character  on the day” .      He went  on to say that they needed  to win to keep  on closing  the gap.

Mike  Mutyaba  is likely  to miss this tie  after the death of  his brother.

Meanwhile  Express fc  come into  this game full of confidence  after two consecutive wins  over Tooro United  and Wakiso Giants, Victories  that have seen  them climb up the  ladder  to 10th position  five points  above  red zone.

They will be boosted  by the return to  form of Frank Kalanda  and Frank  Ssenyondo who seem to have found his scoring  boots under Waswa Bbosa.

Match Facts.
