Uganda names a 34-man squad for CHAN.

Uganda  cranes  coach Johnny  Mckinstry has summoned  a 34-man provisional  squad  to start preparing  for the  African Nations championship (CHAN) that is slated to begin  in April.

The squad will  be trimmed  to get 23 final list that will  represent  the country in Cameroon from  7-25 April. 2020 where they will  meet defending  champions  Morocco, Rwanda and Togo in group  stages.

Mckinstry   has retained  most of the players  that played in recently concluded CECAFA  Senior  Challenge  cup where  they defeated  Eritrea 3-0  to emerge champions.

However  most fans favourite  and on form  players such as David  Bagoole (Busoga United),Hilary  Mukundane ( Mbarara city fc) Muzamir Mutyaba( KCCA)and Lawrence  Tezikya have all missed on the list.

Julius  Poloto who has barely  played football  this season  and Charles  Lukwago who is still nursing  an injury he  sustained  when his team clashed  with  Vipers  two weeks ago have made Coach John Mckinstry list.
