Fiorentina Femeni,have completed the signing of Liberian-born -US Youth International female Striker Abigail Kim, the Club announced on Wednesday.
Kim, born to a Ghanaian father and Liberian mother, will continue her glittering next chapter at Viola Women for a long term.
Fiorentina C. F. Femenino announced the capture of the goal poacher who notched 18 goals and had 10 assists during her 4 year collegiate career. She was twice named to the Third Team All Pac-12 and once to the Second Team All Pac-12. Abi was also selected to the U-20 U.S. Women’s National Team for the 2018 FIFA U-20 Women’s World Cup, helping her realize a dream of hers.
The United States Women National team USWNT U20 Player Abi Kim, has since been link with the Italian Club for a while, but the move was delayed for two months as a result of the European Union not allowing Americans to enter. Abigail Kim was born in Monrovia to a Ghanaian father and a Liberian mother, but was adopted by a Korean American parents,She was raised in Seattle USA and has represented the US female National U20 team. Her adopted parents are Jin and Sue Kim of South Korea, who lives in the united States.
Despite playing all youth levels with the United States Women National teams (USWNT),Kim is eligible to play for the Female Lone Star,given the fact the ex- Seattle sounder and California golden Bears youth player is yet to be capped by the United States Senior Women’s National team.
